You will learn how to make your pots all look the same and achieve faster throwing skills using a pointer.

Ceramic artist Kym Owens has had over two decades as a potter. Her background as lead thrower for Sunset Canyon Pottery has helped her as a studio potter throw pots with skillfulness and efficiency.

Owens will teach you all the ways of throwing, trimming and pulling handles to make your life as a potter more productive and systematic.

This is a two day workshop from 10am-5pm with 1 hour lunch break, lunch will be served. 

Materials, clay and firing are provided for use and a suggestion list will be issued for those of you who like to bring or purchase some of your own tools!
